Greetings From Kansas City

My husband and I are in the beautiful Kansas City. While the husband getting smarter and smarter at another conference, I am sightseeing treasure of this old town with it's contemporary charm...

I couldn't skip a few historical places

As of fun, it happened that I was in a right place in the right time for a Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine Tour.
I had so much fun coloring a book and searching for a clue!

I had even more fun recieving a prise! :)

There is a small kid in each of us...

... we just have to have a right attitude... :)

See you,
Marina

  1. Kansas City is a great town! We lived there years ago. Lots to see and eat, although it's been so long (we lived there in the late 70s, early 80s and I haven't been back since) that most of the places we frequented are probably out of business). But it has great barbecue and fried chicken, if you like those. Have fun!

  4. Never having been to KC, this post is a nice introduction. That skyline is as beautiful as is it unexpected. I once had a chance to take a job there but I was still relatively new to Chicago and unwilling to leave. That was over 25 years ago and I still wouldn't leave.

    1. Hi John, I haven't been to Chicago (does airport counts?), but I've heard it's a nice city. Although the weather could be harsh, and I don't like snow. So I guess I have to visit Chicago in the summer some time... :)

  13. Getting smarter at a conference? Darn, I must be doing them wrong. Every time I go to such things I feel like my brain cells are leaking out of my ears after a few hours :D

Thanks for the little photo tour Marina - I know very little about Kansas City so it's always fun to learn!
